We open our food pantry every Friday at 4:30 pm and distribute bags of food to our community members who need them. The food pantry is located at the side entrance of Grace Hall.

The ministry of hospitality is central to our parish mission. Our goal is to build a welcoming and vibrant parish community for all ages and walks of life. Through parish events, community meals, ministry involvement and other activities, we work to immerse new and current members into the life of our parish and strive to build a true “parish family.”
The Music Ministry at St. Theresa church leads the parish in worship and praise through singing at the different liturgies. Music ministers attempt to inspire the members of the congregation to more fully participate in the celebration of the Word of God and the Most Holy Eucharist.

Saint Joseph Community Land Trust (SJCLT), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 2002 in response to the rising housing costs and the negative impacts of these costs to the broad social fabric, well being, and sustainability of communities around Lake Tahoe. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families who cannot otherwise afford housing by acquiring real estate and developing programs to benefit individuals and families. SJCLT is the only faith-based nonprofit housing organization operating exclusively at Lake Tahoe, in California and Nevada.
